On the bike again. The 24rd of August I biked to my son's place just north of Kempville.
I didn't know how long the final would take so, this way it would only take me about 3 hrs
to get to Ottawa
tomorrow.
Arrived in Ottawa on the 25th and found the first waypoint calculated from the 10 provincial city clues.
I couldn't find the second waypoint even with the help of the other OLDCROW and Penguins Lament.
We had to call it quits for the day and redo our calculations.
On 28 August we returned to Ottawa and I got on my bike to try for the final again.
With a lot of help from Penguins Lament and Hidnseek, a math error was discovered on the web page and once corrected we were back on track.
After gathering information from a plaque along the Ottawa River Parkway, we picked up more information in the market area.
Another clue brought us to the Sparks Street area
Eventually we ended up on the Hull side of the river for the final.
I found the final and after 8,500 km and 90 days I completed the Great White North Geotour series.
Left some pins compliments of Family Ties and got a great set of tickets to the IMAX Theatre.
The Ottawa Cache took me, 110 km and 8 hours over a 5 day period to do the 4 waypoints & final.
The above geocoin was given to me by Binrat before my trip and it was placed in and retrieved from each of the 10 capital caches and then left in the Ottawa final thus completing its goal.
Done! WOW! What a summer.
What's the next adventure going to be??
